Are there any minimum orders?
There are no minimum orders, however please balance your order size
with the cost of freight and transport, or you may opt to pick up
your order at our Carrington Warehouse.
What are some guidelines to installing designwall panels?
Tools that are needed are regular carpenter tools for installation,
including a hammer, saw, leveller, block plane, sanding block, drill,
screw and nail sets. You will need turps to clean up adhesive.
Open packaging and inspect all panels. If material is defective or
does not comply with your order please ring us immediately. Unless
the panels are moisture resistant, they need to be stored in a dry
environment.
Before installation, arrange the panels on each wall to achieve the
best combination of colour and pattern.
Cut panels to size with the blade entering the grooved side of the
panel to avoid panel damage. Panel adhesive can be used for permanent
installations.
Install the panels over existing plaster or drywall onto studs. Drywall
screws of the proper length work the best. Drive the screws through
the backs of the groove and be careful not to damage the groove lips.
For maximum load level capacities, screws should be driven through
every second or third groove.
Once installed the panels can be easily cleaned with a soft, slightly
damp cloth and a mild soap or ammonia rich liquid cleaner.
